NUSA x Southeastern Clubs Champions League
Nashville United Soccer Academy joins Southeastern Clubs Champions League for 2025/26 Season!
Nashville United Soccer Academy (NUSA) is proud to announce its official entry into the Southeastern Clubs Champions League (SCCL) beginning with the 2025/26 season. For the upcoming season, NUSA’s top, boys & girls U11 & U12 teams will compete in the SCCL, joining an elite group of clubs from across the Southeast in a league focused on consistent, high-level competition and player development. This marks a significant step forward in our commitment to creating meaningful pathways for our athletes during their formative years.
The Southeastern Clubs Champions League (SCCL) is proud to introduce an exciting new competitive platform for the U11 and U12 age groups, launching in Fall 2025. This initiative reinforces SCCL’s mission to provide a high-quality game day environment that nurtures player development and fosters a deeper understanding of the game.
As part of this new structure, teams participating in the Champions League within their respective state leagues will now also compete in SCCL Regional Series events. These additional matches are designed to offer elevated competition and meaningful gameplay experiences crucial for young players’ growth.
SCCL Board Member Simon Davey shared his thoughts on the league’s expansion:
“The SCCL expansion into Tennessee marks an exciting new chapter for the league. Our goal has always been to provide high-quality, consistent competition for youth players, and bringing in top clubs from Tennessee strengthens that mission. This move allows us to continue raising standards across the Southeast while fostering meaningful regional rivalries and development opportunities for all member clubs.”
Champions League teams from Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama will come together three to four times per year at neutral locations for inter-state matchups, ensuring a balanced and enriching environment for all participants.
“NUSA is excited to help bring the SCCL to Tennessee. NUSA’s mission is to keep soccer affordable and accessible for all players and the SCCL is a platform that aligns with this mission while providing opportunities for our players to compete against top clubs in the Southeast”. – NUSA Director of Coaching, Chad Hagerty
We’re proud to represent Tennessee in the SCCL and look forward to what this next chapter brings for our players, families, and coaching staff!
