Nashville United Soccer Academy Girls Academy Teams Join Mid-America Conference for 2025/26 Season
NASHVILLE, TN — Nashville United Soccer Academy (NUSA) is proud to announce that, beginning in the 2025/26 season, its Girls Academy teams will compete in the Mid-America Conference of the Girls Academy League. This move from the South Central Conference reflects NUSA’s continued commitment to providing competitive, developmental, and logistically sound playing opportunities for its athletes.
The realignment to the Mid-America Conference will see NUSA’s Girls Academy teams face top Girls Academy clubs across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Tennessee, a shift that aligns teams with a more regional footprint and similar school calendars. This change promises not only smoother travel schedules but also the benefit of a heightened level of competition, allowing NUSA players to grow through high-level matchups against clubs that share our focus on player and character development.
Racheal Foxley, NUSA Girls Academy Director, shared her thoughts on the realignment:
“We’re very excited about the new conference realignment in the Girls Academy, moving from the South Central to the Mid-America. Logistically, it makes a lot of sense pairing us with clubs that share the same high school season. Geographically, we’ll be playing teams in surrounding states to Tennessee, which makes travel much more attainable. The Mid-America Conference brings some incredibly tough competition, but we have no doubt our teams will rise to the challenge. Year one laid a fantastic foundation, and as a club and GA staff, we’re energized by the growth ahead and what’s to come in this next chapter.”
This strategic shift underscores NUSA’s mission to deliver an elite youth soccer experience grounded in character-building, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. The Mid-America Conference will offer NUSA Girls Academy players and coaches exciting new challenges and invaluable experiences as they continue their soccer journeys.
